PEST CONTROL PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANT

 We’re looking to train individuals to become pest control professionals, NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.  This is an entry level position leading to licensed Pest Control Technician.  As a Pest Control Technician Assistant, you will assist a licensed Pest Control Technician in controlling and eliminating rodents, or other pests in or around buildings, performing any combination of following tasks: Setting traps and placing poisonous bait in rodent infested areas, applying insecticides to buildings and grounds, using spray pumps and other equipment. You will also assist on inspections, learning the behaviors of pests and how to eliminate or control pests. If you are dependable, honest, detailed oriented, like to work independently, and enjoys working with people and looking for an interesting career this is the job for you!

Having any experience in a service industry is a plus!!  This is an entry level position.  Once on an assigned route - pay range will be $40,000 - $45,000 per year.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a valid New Mexico driver’s license.
• Can speak with customers.
• Able to work Monday - Friday and occasional Saturday
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to comfortably get into crawl spaces and attics
• Able to work outside
• Willing to learn and grow into the position
• Have a positive attitude
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
