PEST CONTROL PROFESSIONAL

DUTIES
Inspect premises to identify infestation source and extent of damage to property, and access to infested locations
Determine the type of treatment needed to carry out pest management plan.
Measure the dimensions of the area needing treatment
Estimate the cost of their services
Use baits and set traps to remove, control, or eliminate pests
Apply chemical solutions, powders, or gases in and around building, and other structures
Cut or bore openings in building or surrounding concrete, to access infested areas
Clean and remove blockages from infested areas to facilitate spraying procedure and provide drainage, using broom, mop, shovel, and rake
Post warning signs and locks building doors to secure area to be fumigated
Clean work site after completion of job
Dig up and burn or spray weeds with herbicides
Record work activities performed
Drive trucks equipped with power spraying equipment
Create barriers to prevent pests from entering a building
QUALIFICATIONS
